At this level new skills are added to those acquired at the introductory level.

  • To understand how to plan a safe and satisfying walk or recreational course to given criteria of duration and interest using additional navigational skills, and applying these skills in a variety of straightforward navigational situations.
  • To understand relevant safety procedures relating to the activities being undertaken.
