The Dartmoor Local Access Forum is an independent advisory body which was established by the Dartmoor National Park Authority in November 2002. Its purpose is to give advice to the National Park Authority and other organisations, on how to make the countryside of Dartmoor more accessible and enjoyable for open air recreation, in ways which address environmental, social and economic interests. Sustainable development fund
Since 2002 Dartmoor National Park Authority have supported over 300 projects in and around Dartmoor with over £2 million of funding through the Dartmoor Sustainable Development Fund (DSDF). Here we showcase organisations whose great ideas about sustainable living have recently received our support.
