The Dartmoor Preservation Association views Dartmoor as a unique landscape of incredible beauty with a cultural heritage that is worthy of protection and defending against incongruous development.

Mission
The Dartmoor Preservation Association “The Independent Voice of Dartmoor conservation” is a charity that works to protect the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Dartmoor, to preserve a landscape that can be enjoyed by the nation.

Dartmoor
The definition of Dartmoor is “The Forest of Dartmoor, the Commons of Devon on Dartmoor and contiguous parishes”
