TRANSMOOR LINK - It's what weekends are made for...!

Why not try and explore the heart of Dartmoor by travelling on the Transmoor Link from Exeter (via Moretonhampstead) to Plymouth (via Yelverton) aboard the Transmoor Link.
Running on Saturdays (from 03 April 2010 until 30th October 2010) and Sundays (year round)  the Transmoor Link (Bus service 82) gives you the opportunity to :

• Take a scenic bus ride;
• Explore Dartmoor from Exeter to Plymouth;
• Go on a variety of walks (circular, linear, audio and guided); and
• Lunch out in Dunsford, Moretonhampstead, Postbridge, Princetown or Yelverton


Saturdays allow you to travel from Moretonhampstead to Yelverton for only £2 per adult, £1 per child (5-15 years inclusive) or £5 for a family (up to 2 adults and 3 children)
Sundays take advantage of the Dartmoor Sunday Rover and enjoy unlimited bus travel  for only £6.50 per adult, £4.30 per child (5-15 years inclusive) or £16 for a family (up to 2 adults and 3 children)
Weekends represent fantastic value for a car free day out on Dartmoor!

Cross Dartmoor on a Saturday from Moretonhampstead to Yelverton on the Transmoor Link Bus No. 82
£2 adult, £1 child, £5 family (up to 5 people)
Travelling from Exeter: Bus No. 359 to Moretonhampstead, change to Bus No. 82 (Transmoor Link) to Yelverton (remember to purchase a Stagecoach Explorer ticket, £6 adult - valid on Stagecoach and Country Bus)

Travelling from Plymouth: Bus No. 83/84/86 to Yelverton, change to Bus No. 82 (Transmoor Link) to Moretonhampstead
Plymouth to Yelverton - £3.60 adult return

Enjoy unlimited travel on the bus and train network with the Dartmoor Sunday Rover ticket, £6.50 adult, £4.30 child, £16 family (up to 5 people) – simply buy on board the first bus you get on.
