Haytor Hoppa (Bus Service 271) – perfect for exploring Dartmoor

Haytor Hoppa Promotion 2010





Every Saturday: 3 April – 30 October 2010 and
Every Thursday:  27 May – 16 September 2010

This is a circular, scenic bus service which covers the eastern side of Dartmoor - starting and finishing in Bovey Tracey.

Stops en route include Haytor Information Centre – with easy access to Haytor Rocks, the beautiful village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Houndtor Rocks, Manaton village, Becky Falls visitor attraction and Yarner Wood  – before returning to Bovey Tracey.

Daily fare (hop on/off all day): £2 adult, £1 child (5-15 years), £5 family (up to 2 adults and 3 children – representing fantastic value for a car free day out on Dartmoor. Remember your dog is welcome aboard as well and only 25p for a standard journey

SATURDAY SERVICE
When:
April 3rd - October 30th 2010
Where:
Bovey Tracey Circular (Bovey Tracey - Haytor - Widecombe - HoundTor - Manaton - Becky Falls - Bovey Tracey)
Total journey time is 55 minutes
Departs Bovey Tracey at 1005; 1235; 1435 and 1635
Costs
£2 per adult, £1 per child (5-15 years inclusive) or £5 for a family (up to 2 adults and 3 children)
Also:
Use a Stagecoach Explorer ticket from Exeter/Newton Abbot and beyond. The 39 links with the Haytor Hoppa in Bovey Tracey
Finally:
Use your concession travel pass (except school passes), bring your dog aboard (25p standard journey), get a free guided walk if you arrive by public transport.

THURSDAY SERVICE
When:
May 27th - September 16th 2010
Where:
Bovey Tracey Circular (Bovey Tracey - Haytor - Widecombe - HoundTor - Manaton - Becky Falls - Bovey Tracey)
Total journey time is 55 minutes
Departs Bovey Tracey at 1005; 1205 and 1405
Costs
