Morris dancing Mayday celebrations:-
There will be Morris dancing displays at Haytor and Widecombe as local Morris dancers come together to celebrate the traditional start of springtime. Grimspound Border, Beltane Border and Heather & Gorse clog dancers will begin the festivities at dawn (5.30am) to greet the sunrise at Haytor top car park. Later on dance displays will take place in Widecombe village centre from 12 - 1.30 pm and the Rugglestone Inn from 2pm.
