Public Question Time, Public Speaking in respect of Planning Applications, Meetings
The main business of the Authority is conducted at monthly meetings. The Authority meets normally on the first Friday of each month and (with the exception of the Annual Meeting) the meetings commence at the end of the Development Control Committee meetings (see below), but not before 12 noon. They are held at the Authority’s Headquarters at Parke, Bovey Tracey.
The Authority’s Development Control Committee also meets monthly, starting at 10.00 a.m, normally on the first Friday of each month. This Committee considers planning applications and other development control matters, and its meetings are also held at Parke. All the Authority’s Members participate in the Development Control Committee. With the exception of very occasional confidential matters, all of the formal business of both the Authority and its Development Control Committee is conducted in public.
