Arboriculture and Advice

photo tree in Buckland-in-the-Moor

An arboricultural advice service is available to any land or homeowner worried about the condition of a tree where the tree could impact on public areas or neighbouring properties such as trees adjacent to the highway or close to buildings. In certain circumstances this can lead to assistance in the form of tree surgery grants. Where protected trees need tree surgery work to improve life expectancy, or publicly owned trees, and occasionally on trees with particular importance in the landscape, grant aid may be awarded.
