Farming Dartmoor Photographic Competition
The Farming Dartmoor photographic competition is for young people (up to 23 years old). It is one of our activities linked to the Year of Food and Farming initiative. We are looking for images that show farming activity on Dartmoor for example sheep shearing, mending walls and hedges or drifiting ponies.

‘Making a difference for farmers’ The Dartmoor Hill Farm Project was set up in November 2003. It is one of the outcomes of the State of Farming on Dartmoor 2002 research undertaken by the Centre for Rural Research at the University of Exeter. Its emphasis is on helping farmers with advice, guidance, collaborative activities, communication and funding, all through focused support. | ![]() |
