This sector covers a large area of northern Dartmoor, including the highest points, at High Willhays and Yes Tor. The Okehampton military training area, closed to public access at certain times, outside of the main holiday periods, also lies within this Sector. Magnificent views reward those who make the climb to Belstone Tor, Hangingstone Hill or Yes Tor. Around the Meldon area one can see fascinating geology, an impressive reservoir, stunning woodland and open moorland, old quarries and the Granite Way cycle route.
