This sector is the closest area of Dartmoor to the city of Plymouth, and many people from the city enjoy a day out on Roborough Down. Cadover Bridge is another popular picnic spot on the banks of the Plym. The National Trust woodlands at the Dewerstone straddle the Plym, just before it leaves the National Park, and Burrator Reservoir nestles below Sheepstor and Leather Tor.
