Great Junk Masterpieces
![]() | At a training day in 2006, Dartmoor National Park Authority, staff took part in a range of workshops designed to raise the awareness of climate change. One of these was to create Great Junk Masterpieces from recycled materials. |
![]() | Dartmoor 3002 We thought about what climate change could mean for the environment of Dartmoor in the future and for those who farm the land, visit and live here. Our collage of the archetypal Dartmoor landscape with familiar and less familiar elements is intended to provoke discussion! |
![]() | Your Journey Starts Here Take Action The inspiration for this panel came from a headline we found in a magazine article - Your Journey Starts Here, we believed that positive action needs to be taken (starting today!) and that as individuals and as the world's population, our journey into the future can be a more positve one if we start taking responsibily for our actions immediately. The panel has a base layer of images representing the beauty of Dartmoor and the world as well as illustrating how small steps can be taken to address the issue and impact of Climate Change. |
