Make your own Mr Bigboots storybook

If you would like to make a storybook all about Mr Bigboots and his family enjoying a day out on Dartmoor, please follow the instructions below.


Make your own Mr Bigboots storybook
Instruction Sheet

Download and print the pages of the book PDF icon (it is all in black and white). There are 7 pages of A4 paper to print out, and they look like this:

Each page is numbered, so they won’t get mixed up. Very carefully, using paper scissors cut each page in half like this: You may like to get an adult to help you cut picture of some scissors the pages.Drawing of some scissors

Then place them in order, with the picture on the front, and the pages numbered 1 to 11 in order after that. To hold your book together, you can staple it along the left hand side margin, or you can punch holes in the left hand side and sew or tie the pages into a book. Again, you might like to ask an adult to help you.

Finally to make it your own book, colour in the pictures, and write your name on the front cover where it says

‘This book belongs to ….....................................................................................’

And there you have it - your very own Mr Bigboots storybook!
