Philip Cook
| Philip is a retired secondary school teacher. He has been a member of Devon County Council since 1993, and has a keen interest in preserving the environment. Philip is currently a member of the County Councils Executive Committee for improving Devon's green credentials and is also the Vice Chairman of the Devon Authorities Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee. Philip is particularly interested in conserving Dartmoors native flora and fauna, woodland management, the improvement of moorland habitat and the restoration of deciduous woodland. In his spare time Philip is interested in the active management of wildlife habitats, wildlife photography and enjoys growing organic fruit and vegetables in his allotment. |
