James McInnes | James McInnes, was born and brought up in the Okehampton area. Until 2001 he was a Dairy Farmer, and very active in the agricultural community. He is a member of Sourton Parish Council, and in 2003 was elected to West Devon Borough Council, for the Lew Valley Ward. In 2005 he became County Councillor for the Hatherleigh and Chagford Division. James has many interests, which include, the rural economy, health provision in rural areas, and planning. On the lighter side he enjoys music of all types, and when he has time gardening. |
