Thank you to Jade Mogford who sent in a letter telling me about the things she and her family do.

Dear Ralph,

I am writing to tell you about my family and what we do for ourselves and the environment.  I have six members in my family and when we are not at work or school we like to do active things.  Mostly on Sundays we go for long walks on dartmoor or along the beach.  Sometimes we go for really long bike rides.  It's really fun.  My dad goes kyaking lessons and I've joined a canoeing club.  In spring me and my brothers and sister grow vegetables.  This year we grew carrots, parsnips, strawberries, raspberries and peas.  In the summer we go to Wembury beach and my dad takes us for expeditions on the rocks.  We find lots of crabs. I also love fishing.  In the autumn we pick blackberries, hazelnuts and chestnuts, they are yummy.  We also enjoy finding conkers.  We are a very healthy family, we only have crisps on Sunday and we have lots of fruit and veg.  My dad also eats edible mushrooms we pick.  We also use energy saving light bulbs.
